2023 National Conference for Keyboard Pedagogy Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Margie Nelson, who was awarded a lifetime achievement award at the 2023 National Conference for Keyboard Pedagogy (NCKP) in Lombard, Illinois. This award is given to teachers who have demonstrated exceptional teaching service and dedication, and we’re so happy to share this news with you!

Margie studied piano pedagogy with Frances Clark, a pioneer in the field of piano teaching, who believed there’s music in every child. Margie continues to share this philosophy at The Piano Studio, where we strive to find and nurture music in every person. Margie brings her great sense of humor combined with tireless commitment and care to the field of piano teaching, and we are so grateful for her leadership.
